|This week’s guest on The Game Changers podcast is the extraordinarily talented Lauren Steadman.|
A paratriathlon World Champion and Paralympic silver medallist, Lauren enthralled the nation last year when she made it to the semi-finals of BBC’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
I’m not supposed to have favourites… but this is definitely one of my favourite interviews from The Game Changers.
Lauren is so open and honest about her life and the challenges she’s faced – from dealing with her disability as a young schoolgirl, through to coping with public disappointment on the global sports stage.
She’s overcome so much and is now inspiring others with her amazing sporting achievements and all she does to give back to society.
This is a must listen for anyone looking for a brilliant sports story. I’m excited to follow Lauren’s future progress as she works towards her ultimate goal of winning Paralympic Gold at Tokyo in 2020.
You can find The Game Changers podcast in all the usual places – iTunes, Spotify, Stitcher etc.
