Murray confident ahead of Modern Pentathlon World Champs

Samantha Murray insists she is champing at the bit to get going as the London 2012 silver medallist looks to lead Great Britain’s charge at next week’s Modern Pentathlon World Championships.
Great Britain won two medals at last year’s World Championships in Chinese Taipei – a gold in the women’s team event and an individual silver courtesy of Nick Woodbridge, who misses the 2014 edition through injury.
And two years ago Mhairi Spence became only the third British woman pentathlete to win the individual World Championship title when she took gold in Rome.

Dujardin adds world title to Olympic and European golds

Charlotte Dujardin can now add World Equestrian Games gold to her list of major titles in dressage and her quick comparisons between ride Valegro and a Ferrari are more than justifiable.
A day after a stunning performance helped Britain win team dressage silver and book a place at the Rio 2016 Olympics, Dujardin collected Grand Prix Special gold to cap a dominant past two years.
The double Olympic champion from London 2012 and two-time European gold medallist from 2013 – all aboard Valegro – scored 86.120 per cent to become a world title holder for the first time.
