After Friday’s oh-so-close opener against Greece, Tony Garbelotto’s team are ready to go again In their Monday night encounter (1700 GMT).
The players have rested up following the flight from the UK, before evening practice at the Kalevi Spordihall.
Monday’s encounter sets up a contest between two teams looking for their first win. While GB were pipped to the post at the Leicester Arena, the Estonians were beaten in Tel Aviv, 68-88 by Israel but will prove challenging opponents on home soil.
Britain will go into the game with the same twelve who performed so creditably at the Leicester Arena.
Head Coach Tony Garbelotto said, “It was a tough loss on Friday. There wasn’t any soul-searching as such, but it was just tough physically and emotionally.”
“We’ve got a lot of positive, resilient players. We know that for us to be in this tournament and continue for next year, this is a game we have to win. We’ve got to be realistic about that.”
Tomorrow’s game is live via gbbasketball.com and also available via the websites of our home nations plus a host of independent basketball sites.
The game takes place in the same venue where Great Britain’s U18 men secured promotion to Division A at this summer’s FIBA Europe Championships back in August.
