The countdown to the biggest sporting show on earth is underway and athletes from across the world are fine-tuning their preparations ahead of a summer to savour in the city of love. 16 athletes have so far been selected to represent Team GB in Paris and the past 12 months have seen a string of quota places added to an already enviable collection but plenty more remain up for grabs in the time between now and the opening ceremony.
